At the Training and Education Center of Baku Metro CJSC, station employees were provided with meta-communication training ahead of the COP29 Conference.
Meta-communication is a training program that utilizes modern systems thinking approaches to study communication processes. It explores the significance of feelings, thoughts, emotions, and personal characteristics within interpersonal relationship systems.
The seminar was led by professional trainer and development specialist Farid Seyfullayev. The session covered key elements of communication, factors that impede effective communication, communication models, and communication styles tailored to different personality types.
One of the main objectives of the training was to prepare participants to effectively interact with attendees of global climate change conferences, other international events, and passengers. Emphasis was placed on selecting appropriate approaches and techniques, assessing situations, and adapting styles and methods to various contexts.
The training, conducted in an interactive and discussion-oriented environment, included analyzing character types and exploring communication methods through examples. Participants also engaged in model-based discussions to enhance their practical understanding.
Overall, the training proved to be highly effective. It addressed communication, behavior, and other essential modules needed to interact with passengers of diverse cultural and mental backgrounds, particularly during prestigious events like COP29 and in welcoming international visitors to the capital city.
