Prohibitions in Baku Metro
5. The following actions are strictly prohibited in Baku Metro:
5.1 Substance Use: Entering the station or traveling in a carriage while under the influence of intoxicants, consuming alcoholic beverages, drugs, psychotropic, toxic, or other poisonous substances.
5.2 Smoking Restriction: Smoking tobacco in station vestibules, passages, platforms, and carriages.
5.3 Cleanliness and Attire: Wearing clothes that may soil passengers' attire or the cabin, or carrying dirty hand luggage.
5.4 Health Consideration: Entering the station or traveling in a carriage while sick (infected with an infectious disease), which may cause discomfort for fellow passengers.
5.5 Animal Restriction: Entering the station with a sick animal or bird, causing inconvenience to passengers or posing a risk of infectious disease transmission.
5.6 Misuse of Documents: Entering the station using copied or replaced documents, even if notarized, granting the right to free travel.
5.7 Unauthorized Entry Points: Entering the station from exits, areas with restriction fences, and locations where signs prohibiting entry are installed.
5.8 Oversized Luggage: Carrying oversized hand luggage with a total length, width, and height exceeding 200 cm, or a length surpassing 220 cm.
5.9 Unsafe Luggage: Carrying hand luggage that is unfolded, untied, or unfastened, posing a risk of injury to passengers (e.g., glass, linoleum, rubberoid, metal profile, wood, tamasa, non-collapsible and unchecked bicycles, etc.).
5.10 Wheeled Vehicles: Using wheeled vehicles (excluding trolleys) for carrying hand luggage.
5.11 Unauthorized Entry: Arbitrarily entering station roads, control cabins, service and service-technical rooms, ventilation shaft booths, tunnels, and other fenced areas.
5.12 Vandalism: Damaging buildings, structures, facilities, station equipment, escalators, and carriages.
5.13 Escalator Misuse: Unauthorized use of non-working escalators.
5.14 Escalator Etiquette: Elbowing on the escalator, placing objects on the handrail, removing the handrail, throwing objects, running, sitting, and unnecessary use of the "Stop" switch on the balustrade.
5.15 Hazardous Substances: Carrying volatile, toxic, and poisonous substances, objects, liquids, or household gas cylinders.
5.16 Fire and Explosives: Using open fire, pyrotechnic devices (firecrackers, explosives, etc.).
5.17 Weapons Restriction: Carrying firearms or piercing objects.
5.18 Littering: Littering and polluting station lobbies, passages, platforms, escalators, roads, and carriage interiors.
5.19 Throwing Objects: Throwing any object on the tracks.
5.20 Unauthorized Photography: Taking photos, videos, or movies without the permission of the Baku Metropoliten Administration.
5.21 Graffiti: Writing on vestibules, passages, platforms, escalators, and carriages.
5.22 Platform Conduct: Running on the platform, not following the direction indicated by information indicators, and obstructing the organized flow of passengers.
5.23 Platform Boundary: Crossing the boundary line on the edge of the passenger platform before the train comes to a complete stop.
5.24 Carriage Safety: Entering the carriage cabin after the "Doors are closed" announcement, or holding onto carriage doors during boarding or disembarking.
5.25 Door Interference: Opening the doors of the carriage during train movement, preventing the opening and closing of doors at stations, and causing delays in train departure.
5.26 Unnecessary Communication: Using "passenger-driver" communication when not necessary.
5.27 Wheeled Movement: Moving within the Metropoliten area on roller skates, boards, and other similar wheeled and roller vehicles.
5.28 Noise Disturbance: Listening to loud audio equipment, using loudspeakers, and playing musical instruments.
5.29 Unauthorized Movement: Not boarding or disembarking from a train designated to move without passengers after the appropriate announcement.
5.30 Unauthorized Operations: Operating in a commercial, advertising, or any other form and conducting propaganda within the Metropoliten territory without the permission of the Baku Metropoliten Administration.
5.31 Fire Hazard: Burning garbage or making bonfires within 25 meters of all facilities of the Baku Metro, including ventilation shaft kiosks.
5.32 Unauthorized Electrical Connections: Connecting electrical appliances to the metro's electrical network without the permission of the Baku Metropoliten Administration.
