"Baku Metropolitan" CJSC is creating a new opportunity for women who wish to become train machinists or are still deciding. To demonstrably show the possibility of women's success in this field and that they are in no way inferior to men, an open day will be organized at the metro's Training and Education Center.
During the open day, participating women will have the opportunity to receive general information about the metro, get acquainted in detail with many areas, and most importantly, receive comprehensive information about the main attraction of the center - the train simulator. The participants will be presented with insights into the secrets of the machinist profession, the work regime, and other useful information. The leadership and expert team of the metro in various areas will engage in discussions with the participants and answer their questions.
At the meeting, Turkan Baylar, a female machinist who operates trains of the Baku metro, will also participate. She will offer her recommendations, sharing her experiences and thoughts about the training process gathered during her time as a trainee.
