In the metro system, the escalator management, enriched with the installation of travolators and elevators in the newly equipped lines meeting the requirements of the new era, is one of the areas where the most modern standards are extensively applied. It is sufficient to say that more than 84 percent of escalators in the Baku metro consist of modern models. In this section, stands display a part of an escalator, as well as several main components, allowing visitors to see the static technical characteristics of these escalators.
Given that a majority of the new type escalators are being used in the metro, a special technical training cabinet has been allocated. In collaboration with the "Thyssen Krupp Fahrteppen" company, a stand built on the real working principles of these escalators is used for training purposes. Such a resource has been prepared exclusively for the Baku metro among the institutions collaborating with the "Thyssen Krupp" company.
