The complex and multifaceted electrical supply system that powers the metro operation is one of its critical components. At the Training and Education Center, there is a dedicated area where one can obtain detailed information about the main directions of this system, as well as the functioning of the systems, devices, equipment, and tools that support this utility. Notably, this area includes displays that illustrate the working mode of contact rail devices, offering comprehensive insights into their operation. A key feature in this space is a stand demonstrating the working principles of the unique relay protection system. This stand not only provides a visual representation of these principles but also serves as a practical teaching aid used by metro experts, especially for demonstrating the operation of devices under tension in real tunnel conditions.
Considering the modernization of Baku metro's electrical substations based on leading technologies from the "Siemens" company, the Center has been equipped with relevant visual and practical aids. These aids are intended to facilitate the understanding of technological processes, enhance professional knowledge, and strengthen the personnel's potential.
