As you know, significant renovation and reconstruction works have been carried out at the Training and Education Center of "Baku Metropolitan" JSC since last year. According to Fuad Taghizade, the head of the Training and Education Center, these efforts have been focused on enhancing various aspects of the training processes, including staff preparation, specialization, professional selection, and improvement of professional levels.
The renovation work encompassed 11 auditorium rooms, a simulator hall, and various service rooms. These auditoriums have been equipped with modern facilities, including computers, electronic projectors, and screens. The main hall has been redesigned in a new style. Additionally, it is planned to decorate the walls with photo stands illustrating the history of transportation in Baku.
In the corridors, there are displays and pictures that reflect the activities of various departments, such as road, electromechanics, electric supply, tunnel facilities, escalators, signaling and communication, motion services, construction, depot and train operation departments, and the transportation and special machinery department. The walls are also set to feature brief information and pictures about stations of world metros, as well as those of the Baku metro.
Fuad also discussed the new machinist simulator. These simulators, prepared by the "Logos" company, have been installed to conduct training for operating the newly introduced trains in the Baku metro. Currently, software programming and the creation of a modern base system are underway. This new simulator is expected to play a significant role in enhancing the professional level of machinists and in the training of new machinist staff.
