In February 2024, the Baku Metro served 17,895,498 passengers, of which 472,764 were concessionary or free passengers. On average, the metro carried 617,085 passengers per day.
The highest number of passengers carried was on February 26 - 769,386. The least number of passengers, 389,726, was on February 18.
The month of February was notable for the commencement of the new academic term in educational institutions of the capital. Therefore, from February 19, more than 700,000 passengers were transported every working day. In total, over nine working days starting from that date, the average daily passenger transportation was 748,916, compared to the previous 11 working days' average of 612,530 per day. Thus, there was a difference of 136,386 passengers between the two periods daily.
