The next generation wagon in the retro train is of the "Q" type, delivered from the Mytishchi Wagon Manufacturing Plant to the Moscow metro on June 20, 1940. Unlike the "A" and "B" type wagons, these wagons had a more rounded shape. Its body length was extended by 370 mm compared to the previous generation. The driver's cab length was reduced by 100 mm to 18,770 mm, allowing the passenger compartment to be extended by 470 mm. Of this type, produced between 1940 and 1955, three operated in Baku as part of a train accompanying the "A 1001" type track measuring car. One of these wagons, produced in 1950-1951, has been restored as a retro wagon. Generally, the operation of "Q" type electric wagons was concluded in 1983.
