In a dedicated section reflecting the rich history of metro construction in Baku's complex geological conditions, which often required exceptional bravery, it is possible to study various aspects of historical and modern projects. This area provides an opportunity to learn about the different details of each era, the dynamics of underground construction development, its characteristics, and the nature and essence of the work conducted, especially in terms of technology and adapting to Baku's hydrogeology.
The projects showcased in this area are selected to demonstrate not only the complexity of metro construction but also its uniqueness and the distinctiveness of each area.
Metro construction is rapidly evolving. The application of Germany's "Herrenknecht" tunnel boring complex in tunnel excavation has opened a new, faster, and more efficient era in metro construction. A model of the S-835 complex has been specially prepared and is used as a teaching aid in the training process.
Additionally, video tutorials are also utilized to ensure that trainees acquire comprehensive knowledge in various aspects of metro construction. These educational resources provide a deeper understanding of the techniques and challenges involved in building and maintaining a metro system in an urban environment like Baku, where geological and hydrological factors play a significant role.
