As the main venue for the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Baku will be the Baku Olympic Stadium, “Koroğlu” station will serve as one of the key transportation hubs for the event. To ensure ease of movement and orientation for conference participants and guests, several measures have been implemented at the station.
An additional navigation system, developed by the COP29 Operations Company based on its monitoring at “Koroğlu” station, has been installed across the platform, transition areas, and vestibules.
The primary goal is to assist COP29 participants and guests arriving via various means of transportation, including buses, taxis, personal vehicles, and rail, in accurately navigating through “Koroğlu” station.
It is worth noting that to ensure convenience for participants, guests, and those less familiar with the metro, volunteers organized by the COP29 Operations Company have been deployed to 10 metro stations. The largest number of volunteers will be stationed in designated areas of “Koroğlu” station, given its diverse infrastructure.
