The statement issued on March 27, 2020 by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan "on additional measures related to the coronavirus" states that a new schedule of operation of the Baku Metro has been established.
According to the release, starting from March 29, 2020, the working hours of the Baku metro will be from 07:00 to 09:00 in the morning and from 17:00 to 20:00 in the evening.
In this regard, an action plan of the relevant structures of the Baku Metro has been prepared and preparations for the introduction of new working hours have been made.
"Baku Metro" CJSC urges passengers to comply with the decision dated March 23rd of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan imposing a special regime to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the country, as well as to strictly follow the recommendations of the Cabinet of Ministers, and once again, invites to people stay at home for the sake of each of our citizens, following the principles of self-isolation.
