SPECIAL QUARANTINE REGIME EXTENDED UNTIL 00:00, MAY 31, 2020

In view of the current sanitary-epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan, preventive measures carried out in other countries, as well as the recommendations of the World Health Organization, the special quarantine regime has been extended until 00:00 on May 31, 2020. At the same time, taking into account the rate of virus infection among the population and the recovery rate of patients, it has been decided to relax a number of restrictions.
The restrictions are being relaxed in stages in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran, Absheron region and other regions, based on the current sanitary-epidemiological situation, the number of patients and the rate of infection.
In this regard, from 00:00 on May 4, 2020 in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran and Absheron districts:

• the activity of employees of state bodies is resumed in a determined number (the number of employees of state bodies whose activity is resumed will be determined by the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic);
• “DOST” centers resume their activities in the areas of targeted state social assistance and issuance of bank cards in the social sphere in the areas that they serve;
• the activities of those legal entities and individuals providing services to other business entities in various areas whose activities were restricted during the special quarantine regime are resumed;
• the activity of individual trade entities in all areas is resumed;
• Barbershops, beauty salons and cosmetic services are resumed.
