June 1st - International Children's Day - is celebrated every year in Baku metro through interesting projects. Although this year's holiday was held in the context of the fight against the coronavirus ("COVID-19") pandemic, "Baku Metro" CJSC kept its tradition and presented special projects dedicated to children within the requirements of a special quarantine regime.
The main themes are organized in accordance with the requirements of the day. During the quarantine regime, when the maintenance of social distance is urgent and massive socio-cultural events are limited, festive events were replaced by children's voices with different projects this time.
Special educational announcements are sounded minors, preschool and school children at the stations. Children's appeals especially include decisions, recommendations and guidelines of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet, as well as recommendations of the Ministry of Health, TABIB and the World Health Organization to protect passengers from the COVID-19 virus.
As in the previous two years, the announcements made by the children, which were greeted with special sympathy from passengers, accompany passengers on the trains entering and leaving the stations.
The staff of “Baku Metro” CJSC congratulates all children on the occasion of June 1st - International Children's Day, wishing children ,who are our future, happy and carefree days in a healthy and happy environment.
