In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the country and its possible implications, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan by Resolution No. 207 of 19 June 2020 decided to extend a special quarantine regime in the country until 00:00 on August 1, 2020.
Also, in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 208 of June 19, 2020 "On additional measures to tighten the special quarantine regime in the cities of Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad and Absheron region", a number of restrictions will apply from 00:00 on June 21st to 06:00 on July 5th. However, as per Article 3.4 of the Annex to that Decision, public transport, including Baku Metro, is permitted.
The Baku Metro will serve passengers in accordance with the procedure established by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and within the requirements set by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Baku metro stations will be open to passengers from 06:00 in the morning to 00:00 at night.
