“Umidli Galacak” (translated as “Hopeful Future”) Social Initiatives Public Union has sent a letter of thanks to “Baku Metro” CJSC for its support in connection with one of the important projects. The letter, which included a six-month report covering the organization's activities in 2020, noted that the Baku Metro supported awareness-raising campaign on the "Children's Hotline" in the framework of its social responsibility.
It should be noted that on the basis of the request of "Hopeful Future", which is in close cooperation with the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Education, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children, as well as UNICEF and USAID, "Baku Metro" CJSC does its best to solve the problems of children in need, supporting this cause through the dissemination of information in order to expand the promotion of psychological and other assistance to such children. Using its resources to make the hotline accessible to a wider audience, Baku Metro has always ensured that the information about this social project is widely disseminated at stations both in a static format and on the monitors.
In general, after the establishment of “Baku Metro” CJSC in 2014, among its achievements in the field of passenger service and innovative technical innovations is a change in the view of the role of the underground public transport in the life of our society. It is the projects that are distinguished by their social nature that define today’s new image of Baku Metro. The example of the "Children's Hotline" is a clear confirmation that the support for new types of social projects is the right decision.
At present, the Baku Metro pays special attention to such important social projects in close cooperation with government agencies, many leading organizations in our country, and based on applications and initiatives.
