By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 255 dated July 17, 2020, the term of the special quarantine regime in the country has been extended until 12:00 am on August 31.
It is known that in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the country and its possible implications, the Cabinet of Ministers amended the Decision No. 207 issued on June 19, 2020 by adopting paragraph 2.2. of Resolution No. 236 "On additional measures to tighten the special quarantine regime" on July 3, 2020, suspending passenger transportation in Baku Metro from 12:00am on July 4, 2020 to 6:00am on July 20, 2020.
Pursuant to paragraph 2.3 of Resolution No. 256 "On additional measures to tighten the special quarantine regime" adopted on July 17, the Resolution adopted on July 3 was amended accordingly and the suspension of passenger transportation in Baku Metro was extended until August 5.
