On the event of the 51st anniversary of the opening of the Baku Metro, a ceremony was held to present state honorary titles and awards, as well as the highest award of the organization «Honorable metro worker».
Opening the event, Tarlan Dadashov, Head of the Department of Human Resources and Service, noted that the awarding of metropolitan workers is a vivid example of the care and attention of the state. On behalf of the management and staff of the Baku Metro, Mr. Dadashov expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, for the high appreciation of the labor of the metro workers, and noted with assurance that this high trust will be confirmed by their work.
The Chairman of the Trade Union of Metro Workers Arif Mardanov and the Head of the Public Relations Department Bakhtiyar Mammadov congratulated those who were awarded the honorary title and wished them success.
It was noted that, awarded workers will continue to support their colleagues with their examples and will take an active part in the training of the new generation.
Then the award ceremony took place.
It is significant that by order of President Ilham Aliyev, Shaig Eyyubov was awarded the personal pension of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for services in the construction of the metro, and Mazahir Nabiyev, Advisor to the Chairman of CJSC “Baki Metropoliteni”, was awarded the honorary title “Honored Engineer”. Head of the Automotortransport column of the Transport and Special Techniques Department, Rasim Amrahov, Head of the Surveyor Division of the Construction Department Khaladdin Tahirov, Head of the Track Section No. 2 of the Track Service Gurban Abdusamedov, Heads of sections of the Construction Department Rafael Mehdiyev and Abulfaz Mirzaliyev awarded the medal "Tereggi".
By order of the Chairman of CJSC “Baki Metropoliteni”, a group of metropolitan worker, who over the years have acquired many labor achievements fulfilling their direct obligations with a sense of duty and honor, were presented with distinctive signs and certificates of the title “Honorary Metro worker”.
Expressing gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev for the awards, speakers, noted that they perceive it as a high appreciation of the work of the entire collective, and said that the metro will continue to work hard for the development and growth of the metro and exemplary passenger services.
